Clare Butcher Awards

A memorial fund was setup to honour Clare Butcher a former member of the society. Since 1993 the Clare Butcher awards have provided book token prizes at school science fairs in Christchurch, Dunedin, Hawkes Bay and Auckland.

Local society members act as judges for these awards.
